My father Clarence Oliver Prather hitchhiked from his home town of Vernon Texas to Modesto California 60 years ago & raised a family, the west coast has gotten so crazy that I moved to Chickasha Oklahoma two years ago, I noticed that I now live only two hours from my fathers home town, I will come to see and visit Vernon tomorrow, can’t wait to see Vernon in person. Hope to meet some of the Prather’s that I have never met.
